It's already uploaded when you stop
Most tools start uploading when you press stop, so a ten-minute recording means watching a progress bar. Zoomin streams the video to storage in 5 MB chunks while you're still talking. Pressing stop uploads the last few seconds — then you have a link.
Branded intro and outro cards, burned in
Pro opens with a library rather than an empty page: nine intro animations, nine sign-offs and seventeen camera backgrounds are already there, and you can upload your own. They're rendered into the video itself by the encoder, not overlaid by a player — so they survive being downloaded, embedded, or forwarded.
It plays on a phone. Every time.
Browsers record WebM, which Safari and iOS play unreliably or not at all — and a phone is where your video actually gets watched. Every Zoomin recording is transcoded to H.264 MP4 with the index at the front, so it starts instantly instead of buffering the whole file first.
A link you can actually take back
Sharing is an explicit, per-video decision — having the URL isn't enough on its own. Change your mind and you rotate the link, which kills every copy already sent. Add a password or an expiry date on Pro.

Questions people actually ask
Do I need to install anything?
No. Recording happens in the browser using the standard screen-capture API. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari 17+ on a desktop all work. Phones can watch but not record — that's a browser limitation, not ours.
What's the catch with the free plan?
There isn't one, but there are limits: 25 recordings, 5 minutes each, 5 GB, and a small Zoomin badge on pages you share publicly. No card required, no trial clock, and your videos don't get deleted if you never upgrade.
What happens to my videos if I cancel?
You drop to the Free plan's limits. Nothing is deleted — but if you're over 25 recordings you won't be able to make new ones until you delete some or resubscribe. Your existing share links keep working.
Can I download the original file?
On Pro, yes — the finished MP4, at full quality, from the video's page. We don't keep the raw browser recording after converting it; it's an intermediate file that no player handles well, and storing it would double what everyone's videos cost.
