How Zoomin compares
Written to be useful rather than flattering. Two of these are better than us at things we do not do.
Loom $18/user/mo (Business)
The category leader, and the reason async video is normal now. Their free tier is genuinely usable; the jump to paid is steep if all you needed was longer videos and no watermark.
Vidyard $19/user/mo (Pro)
Built for sales teams — CRM integrations, viewer scoring, email sequences. Excellent at that, and priced for it.
Zoom Clips Bundled with Zoom paid
Convenient if your company already pays for Zoom. The free allowance is small and the player is aimed at internal use.
Screen Studio $89 one-time (macOS)
Beautiful automatic zoom and cursor animation, and the best output of anything here. It's a macOS editor, not a sharing service — you export a file and host it yourself.
Zoomin $5/mo · $50/yr
Browser recording that uploads while you talk, a mandatory H.264 transcode so it plays on phones, intro and outro cards burned into the file, and links you can revoke. One price, no seats.
Where the others win
If you need Salesforce and HubSpot integrations with viewer scoring, Vidyard is built for that and we are not. If you want automatic cursor zoom and the most cinematic output available, buy Screen Studio — it is genuinely the best-looking tool here. If your company already pays for Zoom and nobody records more than two minutes, Zoom Clips is free to you. And Loom has a decade of polish, a desktop app, an SDK and a team directory we have no equivalent for.
Where we win
Three things, and one of them is the price.
The upload is already done
We stream the recording to storage in chunks while it is still being made, rather than starting the upload when you press stop. On a ten-minute video that is the difference between a link and a progress bar.
Branding that is in the file
Intro and outro cards are rendered into the video by the encoder, not drawn by a player. Download it, embed it, forward it — the branding is still there. Most tools at this price do not offer cards at all.
$5 instead of $18
Not a limited tier at $5 with the good parts behind a $18 one. Pro is everything: unlimited recordings, two-hour capture, your cards, no watermark, password links, MP4 downloads.
Competitor prices are the published list prices for a single seat as of 2026, and change without telling us. Check theirs before you decide — and if we have got one wrong, tell us and we will fix this page.
Cheapest way to find out is free
25 recordings, no card, no expiry. If it does not replace a meeting in the first week, you have lost nothing.
